Pricing
Every job is built from the simple components below — no hidden fees, no surprises. All prices in Canadian dollars, before GST.
Casting
Lost-wax casting in silver, gold, and bronze. Small runs welcome — from a single piece to 200.
Wax injecting
Per wax, injected from your mould or one we make for you:
Up to 2.5 g — $2
2.51 – 6 g — $3
Over 6 g, up to 20 g — $5
Very complex or ultra-difficult injections may be quoted higher — always confirmed with you before work begins.
Spruing
$1 per attachment point. Wax or printed patterns that arrive without sprues are charged per attachment point — one for a single sprue, more where a piece needs multiple feeds.

Fixed pour cost per flask, any size we run (metal is additional — see below).

Mouldmaking
Vulcanized rubber moulds from your master — or in silicone for finer detail and delicate masters.

Moderately complex masters +25%. Multi-part moulds and very delicate masters are quoted individually.
Metal
Charged by weight at the daily market price, so you always pay a fair rate.
Our metal
Silver: daily market buy price + $5/g alloy & handling, plus 15%.
Gold: daily market buy price + $10/g alloy & handling, plus 15%.
Bronze: $0.30/g.
Your metal
Client-supplied metal is welcome. It must include at least 50% new metal — supply your own, or we can provide the new half. Melting and shotting supplied metal: $0.50/g ($10 minimum).
3D-printed patterns
We print your model in high-detail resin and build a mould from the printed master — the reliable route from CAD file to cast metal.
$15 setup per print job, then $1.50 per gram of printed resin.
The print fee covers the printed master only — the mould made from it is priced separately, from the mouldmaking table above.
Some geometries can’t be produced reliably with this workflow — if your piece isn’t a good fit for our setup, we’ll tell you before any work begins, not after.
Good to know
Included finishing
Every casting is cut from the tree, pickled to remove oxidation, and tumbled in fine media at no charge — pieces arrive clean and free of investment. Polishing and other finishes quoted per piece.
Rush service
Need it faster? Queue-jump service is +50% on the job, subject to capacity — please ask before ordering.
Mould storage
Free for active clients (at least one order every 6 months). Moulds inactive for over 12 months may be returned at your shipping cost or disposed of.
Getting started
Public projects begin with a $50 deposit, applied in full to your first order. Approved trade clients are exempt.
Shipping
Actual shipping cost plus a $10 packaging & handling fee. Every order is packed with care.
Taxes
5% GST is added to all orders, including shipping.
